The 6th annual art show at Walnut Hills was a fantastic display of creativity and imagination.

More than 250 people visited the “Creativity is Timeless” Exhibit, which was held the weekend of August 26th and 27th. The exhibit showcased 86 pieces of artwork submitted by 44 Holmes County amateur artists, who are all over the age of 55.

Artwork ranged from quilts and wall hangings, paintings and drawings, and photography to woodworking, soft crafts, hard crafts, and miscellaneous arts and crafts.

The 2016 Best of Show Award was presented to Martha Schrock of Millersburg for her quilt entry titled “Appliqué Birds.” The 2016 People’s Choice Award, which was determined by votes from visitors to the exhibit, was also awarded to Schrock for her beautiful quilt.
