Almost 300 people visited the 2017 “Creativity is Timeless” Exhibit, which was held the weekend of August 25th and 26th. The exhibit showcased 95 pieces of artwork submitted by 54 Holmes County amateur artists, who are all over the age of 55.

Artwork ranged from quilts and wall hangings, paintings and drawings, and photography to woodworking, soft crafts, hard crafts, and miscellaneous arts and crafts.

The 2017 Best of Show Award was presented to Bill Jennings of Walnut Creek for his woodworking entry titled “The Last Supper.” The 2017 People’s Choice Award, which was determined by votes from visitors to the exhibit, was also awarded to Jennings for his intarsia woodworking.

“Creativity is Timeless” is an annual art show sponsored by Walnut Hills to celebrate the creativity and imagination of individuals who are 55 and older.
