Director of Health Care Services

* Newly created full-time, salaried position

* Responsible for directing all nursing services on our continuing care campus, ensuring high quality clinical care for residents at our nursing home and assisted living facility

* Requires an RN with prior management experience, preferably in a senior service setting. Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate a passion for serving older adults and commitment to culture change and should have a history of operating in a complex system, have experience with large scale change, and be able to connect with and lead a team successfully.

Charge Nurses

* Full-time position on midnight shift and part-time positions on day shift for RN or LPN at our Skilled Nursing Home/Transitional Care Unit

* Successful candidates must have current and in good standing, licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in state of Ohio.

* Job duties include, but are not limited to supervising and overseeing the work of STNAs; ensuring that care plans are carried out appropriately; performing routine nursing care measures, including vital signs, weight and food intake monitoring, and behavior monitoring, when appropriate; administering medications and treatments and performing appropriate diagnostic tests as ordered; and documenting all pertinent information on resident charts


 STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant)

* Full-time positions on afternoon shift at our Skilled Nursing Home/Transitional Care Unit

* Successful candidates must have current and in good standing, licensure as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) in the state of Ohio.

* Job duties include, but are not limited to assisting or performing personal care for residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, skin care, oral care, and toileting (or incontinence care); serving meals and assisting residents with meals as needed; passing ice water, juices, and supplements to residents; keeping records of residents’ food and oral intake and/or output when ordered; answering call lights in a timely manner; assisting residents in walking, transferring from bed to chair, transporting from place to place with use of wheelchairs, walkers, scooters, canes, etc., as needed, and positioning residents; and changing linens on beds.


STNA Class

* Apply now for class starting in January. We provide comprehensive, PAID training.

* If you are interested in the class, you can work for Walnut Hills now as a Hospitality Aide while you wait for the class to begin. Starting wage is $9.66/hour for class candidates who work as hospitality aides.

* Successful candidates should be dependable, hardworking, compassionate, and caring.


Nursing Assistants

* Part-time positions on afternoon and midnight shifts at our Assisted Living facility

* STNA license is not necessary, but experience as a caregiver is preferred.

* Successful candidates should be dependable and compassionate and be able to work independently to care for our residents. 

* Job duties include, but are not limited to assisting or performing personal care for residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, skin care, oral care, and toileting (or incontinence care); serving meals and assisting residents with meals as needed; passing ice water, juices, and supplements to residents; keeping records of residents’ food and oral intake and/or output when ordered; answering call lights in a timely manner; assisting residents in walking, transferring from bed to chair, transporting from place to place with use of wheelchairs, walkers, scooters, canes, etc., as needed, and positioning residents; and changing linens on beds.


Dining Assistants

* Part-time (combination of day and afternoon shifts) and PRN positions available at Nursing Home and Assisted Living

* Successful candidates should be dependable and enjoy working with a team in a kitchen setting.

* Job duties include helping with meal preparation, dining room service, and clean up. Every other weekend is required.


Housekeeping/Laundry Aide

* Full-time position on day shift at our Skilled Nursing Home

* Successful candidates should be dependable, detail oriented, and efficient. 

* Job duties include helping clean resident rooms and common areas of our Nursing Home and assisting with resident and facility laundry.
